Providing On-Site Lactation Support Services for Working Mothers

Lactation Consultants of Atlanta, Inc. will provide an on-site lactation program to include ongoing advice and help from a professional Lactation Consultant, access to nursing mother's rooms, access to a hospital-grade electric breast pump and literature on topics regarding breastfeeding while working.

Lactation Program Objectives

• To evaluate and deliver a program of educational/clinical lactation services.

• To provide lactation education/consultation by  Certified Lactation Professionals during the prenatal and postpartum period.

• To provide lactation education/consultation by Board Certified Lactation Professionals during the prenatal and postpartum period.

• To meet the equipment needs of employees for breastfeeding products after return to work.

• To increase work productivity of a relaxed, more comfortable mother who is less frequently absent because of personal or infant illness.
